What am I doing here?

I'm learning React and Next.js by building this blog. It has been a fun and rewarding experience. I started by watching a tutorial by JavaScript Mastery , an excellent resource for learning modern web development. My GitHub repository for this project is here , feel free to clone it and use it for your own blog. I'll link the original tutorial at the bottom of this post. In a later post I will document the process of setting up the schema for this project on GraphCMS, a very cool content management option for GraphQL projects.

What's the plan from here?

I hope to make a career change from systems administration to web development. I have experience in web development, building web apps for my current job and some freelance stuff, but I really want to do it full time, front end and back end. We will see what the future holds.
